Her hair reminds me of a beach

With her eyes resembling the ocean,

Her bright face beamed like she was apart of a daydream.

Her smile was here and was coming closer

And that’s when she said to me,

“Hey, do you work here?”

She fell on the tracks

As drunk as she could be,

I went down to save her

But really, she saved me.

I would never hurt the person I love,

It would cause me too much pain,

But I would hurt people for them.

The need for them to be gone from their life

Fills me with the most strife.

I see her life from outside of her window.

She is going to have a better life,

All because of me.

You have terrible taste in friends,

Don’t even get me started on the people you date.

I’m going to help you.

You are gonna get the life you deserve.

With your book in my hand,

And your light gone out.

I shouldn’t have did what I did.

I’m sorry.
